Done and Done! With our wedding about 11 months away, everyone keeps asking me how the planning is going. My answer has been the same to everyone, “Everything is Done!” Of course, not everything is done, but there is literally not much else I can do at this point. Our venue and photographer were booked just weeks after we got engaged. Through our venue, Zorvino Vineyards, we chose their “Vineyard Vendor Package” which includes our DJ, florist, and cake. It also includes our limousine, but at this time we’re not planning to do a limo. I bought my wedding dress and picked out my bridesmaids dresses. My plan is to schedule an appointment for all my fabulous girls to get fitted for their dress just after the holidays. I have known forever that I want sunflowers and I chose my wedding colors, wine and silver. We have also chosen our officiant; although, we do have a few details to iron out.
Do I or Don’t I? I’m debating on sending out “Save The Dates”. We did an engagement session and got absolutely incredible pictures so I want to utilize them for several things. I really like the idea of doing magnet save the dates that allow me to include pictures and so far my favorite company is Magnetstreet. They have great templates and I find their website to be very user friendly. I know people typically send out save the dates six to nine months before their wedding so I still have some time to figure it out!
The Next Big thing! The next big thing is our wedding invitations. Luckily, one of my bridesmaids and good friends is a graphic designer and offered to help design our invitations. I’m looking forward to having something unique that can’t be bought online. I’m all about being unique, different, and standing out from the rest of the crowd.
Where to Honeymoon?! I think this is our biggest question right now. There are so many places we’d love to go that it’s hard to narrow it down. We are definitely doing two full weeks and have been tossing around the idea of splitting up the weeks between two different places. A cruise one week and a tropical island the 2nd week. Two different islands in Hawaii, and if we do Hawaii we would also like to do a few days in Napa Valley. If we do a cruise we’d preferably like to sail on Celebrity as it comes highly recommended as one of the top cruise lines regarding food, cleanliness, class, and overall experience. We found one cruise on Celebrity so far that it quite appealing and remains on our maybe list. With all the destinations on our list I know we cannot visit them all, but I’ve decided that no matter where we go it will be incredible and special! Not to mention we’ll still have a bucket list of places to visit for anniversaries, future vacations, and special occasions! As for now, I’m continuing to research wedding ideas and enjoy being engaged to my best friend and the love of my life!
