Alright fitness lovers, this one is for you! I’m very excited to announce that I’m hosting an outdoor fitness challenge through Move More Fitness during the entire month April. I became an ambassador for them on January 27th of this year, and they’ve quickly become one of my favorite communities. Between the extra boost of motivation and inspiration, the amazing group of women that I’ve connected with, and the wonderful fitness opportunities, Move More Fitness continues to be an absolute pleasure to work with and I’m thrilled to help represent this growing company and community.
So, what’s this challenge all about?! Well it’s April, which means the snow is melting, the temps are getting warmer and it’s officially spring. It’s the perfect time to get outside, get some fresh air and expand your playground. Whether it’s a walk, a run, a hike or leading your group fitness class outside instead of inside a studio, we’d love to see you doing more outdoors and how creative you can get.
To participate and qualify for this challenge you should share any of your pictures that you show you moving or being active outside on any social media site and use the hashtags #MoveMoreFitness and #MoveMoreOutdoors through-out the month of April. You don’t have to be a professional or an advanced athlete, you just need to get active outside and help motivate others by sharing your experiences. We will be featuring challengers throughout the month. For fitness tips, motivation and to learn about future challenges, you can follow Move More Fitness on Instagram, Facebook and you can join their Facebook challenge page.
I’m also excited to announce that this challenge comes with incentives. I have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes to give out including a wireless Heart Rate Monitor sponsored by Beets Blu, Move More Fitness Swag, and a Gociety T-shirt. For anyone that missed my post, Gociety is a new free social network designed to connect you with other outdoor enthusiasts. And for anyone unfamiliar with Beets Blu, I recently had the opportunity to test and review their HR monitor and I absolutely love it. It’s easy to use, it syncs your data with Bluetooth and it even pairs with running apps such as RunKeeper.
I’m looking for creative and motivating individuals who just having fun with fitness outdoors! I can’t wait to see everyone’s pictures and hear about your outdoor activities and adventures. So have fun with it and help me kick off Spring by moving more outdoors!
