Happy Halloween bloggers! The year seems to be flying by quicker than I could have ever imagined as I can’t believe the holidays are upon us. It seems like yesterday I was carving pumpkins with my husband pregnant as ever. And today, she’ll be dressing up like a strawberry and celebrating her very first Trick-or Treat. Although she is still too young to indulge in all the candy and goodies of the holiday, I know a lot of parents will be looking for the hottest items to hand out to their Trick-or-Treaters. While king size candy bars, bags of candy corn and packs of licorice have been popular in the past, parents are looking for healthier alternatives that will still allow them to maintain the title of “best house on the block”.
Popchips, a delicious popped chip, was chosen as the favorite snack by a panel of children in Real Simple Magazine. They are adored by kids who find the taste and texture irresistible without even knowing they are healthier for them! unlike traditional fried potato chips, Popchips meet many of the strict nutritional standards being enforced in a growing number of schools throughout the united states and are a great option for Halloween!
… and what’s better than snacking on popchips? Snacking on Popchips disguised as spooky spiders (quality control – don’t worry, they only sound spooky)! We’ve been getting (witch)crafty, and casting snack spells all over social media. Feast your eyes on our frightfully fun Halloween #snacksmall bites.
The spider bite Popwich:
2 sea salt popchips + creamy nut butter + licorice + googly candy eyes = perfectly spooky spider bite popwich #snacksmall
So adorable right?! If you make them, be sure to share your pictures and tag #Popchips and #snacksmall 🙂
Happy Halloween bloggers! And as always, I hope the day and holiday finds you well and the weekend treats you right!
