Ever since becoming a mother I have become a bit neurotic when it comes to the products I use. From household cleaners to the shampoo I use, I am slowly but surely riding my house from many of the products that contain harsh chemicals. I guess you can say motherhood prompted me to take a deeper look at more than just what I put into my body (food), but also what I use topically and around the house.
Back in April, my husband and I spent five days in Puerto Rico on an all expenses paid vacation. While we were down there, we had the pleasure of meeting a top executive for a company called Babyganics, which turned into a wonderful opportunity for me to test out and review a bunch of products from their amazing line.
Now I’m sure many of my mommy followers have heard of Babyganics, and perhaps have even tried some of their products. I admit that although I see their stuff every time I’m shopping down the baby aisle in Target, the only thing I had at home was a lotion that was given to me. And gasp! I hadn’t even tried it yet! But after a nice conversation with my new-found friend, and learning more about the company and their products, I was very excited to test out and review anything they were willing to let me try.
The two things that excite me the most about Babyganics are…
#1 Their products are all natural “baby safe”
#2 Everything is made in the US
The products I was given to try!
• Mineral-Based Sunscreen, 50+ SPF
• Bug Spray
• Toy & Highchair Cleaner
• Foaming Hand Soap
• Foaming Dish & Bottle Soap
• Baby Wipes
• Hand Sanitizing Wipes
• Moisturizing Daily Lotion
• Diaper Rash Cream
Out of the very generous package of products I was given, so far my absolute two summer favorites are the sunscreen and the bug spray. In fact, in just over a month, my tube of sunscreen is just about gone and I guarantee you all that I’ll be running straight to Target as soon as it is so I can buy another one. Seriously moms and dads, this sunscreen is absolutely amazing. My daughter seems to have sensitive skin, and I can say with 100% honesty that she has not any irritation from this sunscreen, and it’s provided wonderful protection from the sun. This is definitely my favorite brand of sunscreen!
So far the bug spray is working great, and I love it so much that even my husband and I use it. My daughter loves the foaming soap and she uses it every time she washes her hands. I love the toy & highchair cleaner and use it weekly, the hand wipes are awesome and I use the lotion on both my daughter and myself. These are all great products from their line that I will definitely buy again.
The only product that I haven’t tried so far is the diaper cream, and that’s because my daughter tends to do better with powders when she has a rash, as ointments tend to make matters worse down there.
So, with all my reviews I like to ask myself the big question, “Would I buy this product and use it again?” I’m pretty sure from my above rave reviews that you can all guess this is a big mommy hell YES! In fact, I just restocked on their face and hand wipes today. Out of the nine things I received, the only two things I probably wouldn’t buy are the diaper cream and the dish soap. Everything else I will absolutely continue to use.
I’m thrilled I was given the opportunity to try so many awesome products from Babyganics. They’ve quickly become a staple in my house for my daughter, and we look forward to trying out some other products like their bath soap.
Have you used Babyganics before? If so, what are your favorite products? I’d love to know!
