It’s no secret that babies and kids grow really fast. Between clothes, diapers, shoes and toys, it seems like they’re constantly growing out of something and needing a new size or age appropriate toy. I recently had the opportunity to review Austin Lloyd, a monthly box subscription of toys.
There are different boxes and play levels to choose from, so we chose the 6-12 month range. I opened the box with my daughter and it was like Christmas in mid-October for her. There were a lot of “Ooooo’s”, “Aaaaaa’s” and excitement. Anyone who knows my daughter knows she does this when she gets excited and it’s super cute. So far my favorite is the table toy that has a suction cup on the bottom. It sticks to any hard surface and has been perfect to entertain my daughter in her highchair and even out at restaurants. I think her favorite has been The Finger Circus Game book.
What You Can Expect to Receive in Your Austin Lloyd Box:
- toys and books that are customized to the play level of the child (toys are typically appropriate for children under 3)
- bpa and phthalate free items
- unique, high end toys that are not typically sold at chain retail stores
- engaging toys that are targeted at improving fine motor and cognitive skills
- toys with an overall value that is greater than the cost of your subscription
- no battery operated toys
How it Works:
It’s simple, you sign up for the subscription you want and start receiving a box of age appropriate toys which will be delivered the 3rd week of every month. Once your child doesn’t need the toys anymore or has grown out of them, you can choose to donate them. I think this is my favorite aspect of the company because there are so many children in need and could really benefit from their donation program. Of course, you can choose to keep your toys too!
I recently decided that going forward with my product reviews, I’m going to include a “Would I purchase this?” at the end of each post. So, would I sign up for an Austin Lloyd subscription? At the time being this isn’t something that my daughter needs as she is very blessed to have a lot of family that spoils her with new toys and clothes all the time. However, if we didn’t have a constant over flowing supply of toys coming in, I certainly consider this subscription. I think it’s definitely worth looking into and I love their donation program.
I’ve partnered up with Austin Lloyd and am offering my readers 10% a subscription of their choice. Just use the code Parke10 to save now! This promotion ends on December 31st.
* Disclaimer: This post and promo code are sponsored by Austin Lloyd. I was provided a complimentary box of toys to review, and my opinions here are my own. Please note although all toys are age appropriate, they should be inspected for small or broken parts before giving them to your child.
