As I sit here watching my daughter play with all her new toys from Christmas, it doesn’t seem possible that in just a few hours the year is coming to an end. It seems like yesterday I was ringing in 2014 sporting quite the baby bump and gearing up for her arrival. This year has been wonderful, amazing and I feel incredibly blessed. Yet somehow, I can’t seem to hold back the tears…
2014 is the year I became a mom, and in a blink of an eye, we’re saying good bye. It’s been a year that has challenged me, changed me, taught me and began molding me into motherhood. It’s been a year that has started me off on new and exciting career ventures and new found hobbies.
Most of the time I look forward to a new beginning and a fresh start, but this year I’m wishing I could hold on and relish in the triumphs of 2014 just a little bit longer. But, I’ve yet to learn how to slow down and pause time, so here we go full speed ahead into 2015. C’est la via.
This year has brought me a lot of joy, love and success, and I’m not going bore you all by writing another long winded list like I did last year, but instead focus on the things that have meant the most…
2014 in Review – My biggest and most cherished accomplishments:
♥ Giving birth to my beautiful and amazing daughter
♥ Raising my daughter as a stay at home mom, and focusing on my family as my #1 priority and “job”
♥ Finding great new success with my blog
♥ Finally taking the leap to turn my love and passion for fitness into more of a career focus (much more to come in 2015 on this one!)
Don’t get me wrong, I’m eager to see where 2015 takes me, as I have some really exciting goals and plans that have been in the works for months. But on the same token, 2014 has been so wonderful, and it’s a year I’ll hold near and dear to my heart forever.
So as I bid adieu to 2014, I’m thankful and grateful that it’s been so awesome, and I’m hopeful for another year just as wonderful.
Happy New Year blog lovers! Here’s hoping 2015 finds you well and treats you right!
